Essay: Great Essay! Describes how I found the strength to be able to come out of such an emotionally tough sophmore year and perform nothing less than perfect my junior year. Also talks about how i have been extremely cultured after performing in 4 foreign countries with viking choir(switzerland, austria, germany, and italy) and 2 foreign countries with thespians(england and scotland).

If I don't get into CAS will I get into GSP. I wouldn't mind GSP at all. What is it like? I love NYU and have to be there!

Vskills, I think you have a lot going for you and I believe you will get into NYU. Also, If you like NYU you may also like Eugene Lang College which is located in the village or Sarah Lawrence which is located about 10 miles or so from NYC. I believe there is a train station nearby for easy access into the city. Good luck!

What do you think is going to make me stand out on my application. My GPA and test scores arent amazing. Whats going to make the admission committee set me apart. I am so excited that I am getting good feedback. Thanks guys! Just remember, be honest. And how much is being black going to further my chances of getting in?

I just feel like you have a very strong profile overall. I think they will love the upward trend in grades and the 4.0 both semesters of junior year. Congrats by the way! Also, your course work is strong along with your rank and scores. Lots of nice ecs. I'd be surprised if you didn't get in.

Wait what does "bump" mean. I am new to this and saw a bunch of kids put "bump" in there post. So I kinda dont know what it means. But talk to me about my chances of getting into NYU.
