chance me after first semester please!

Hi all,
Just finished my first semester at a top 20 LAC. I'm looking at the following schools:
Tufts, UPenn, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, Amherst

Stats:

GPA: 3.7

SAT
M: 790
W: 720
CR: 740
Total: 2250

SAT IIs
Math 2c: 710
Lit: 730

Courses:
Calc II + 3 intro levels

Thoughts on my chances?
Thanks

First question: Did you get into any of these schools as a high school senior? If not, then your chances are a lower than they might otherwise be.

Second: Your stats are fine, but the 3.7 will resonate more if you're at a top 5 LAC than at #20, say.

Third: Transfer admissions are notoriously difficult, with acceptance rates in the single-digits for most of these types of schools.

Four: Have a safety transfer school you'd be happy to transfer to (unless you could deal with staying where you are).

Five: Good luck!

I agree with the above.

You have too many reaches and they are all extremely difficult to transfer to, even tufts.

For Tufts: Transfer Students
Total number of transfer students who applied: 737
Total number of transfer students who were admitted: 104

You need a safety if you are really desperate to leave. However, since this might be a move for prestige, I doubt you will try to put a safety on your list.

Very unlikely at: Brown, Amherst, Darthmouth, Upenn

Semi-Match: Cornell, Tufts

Tufts transfer admissions are harder than transfer admissions at many of those places, btw.
