You have a decent academic record and pretty good SATs, but your ECs are average. HYPS and MIT are very high reaches, BYU is a match, and the rest are low to mid reaches.

Your ECs are not nearly strong enough for top schools and your test scores are borderline. I suggest doing something strong over the summer (internship, research, etc) and taking your SATs again to improve your CR score.

Prediction:
Ivies, Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Stanford, MIT, Notre Dame: Rejected (you need some better ECs)
Cal poly, BYU, Tulane: accepted

Your test scores are average for top level schools. You GPA is alright but you have no AP classes. Your ECs are very weak. If you are aiming for top schools you’ll need some better ECs and phenomenal essays and letters of rec.

Sorry if that was harsh, but it was realistic.

Also if you want advice for Notre Dame I would be happy to give it to you, as I was accepted EA. Just PM me.

Good luck!

Chance me back (prediction thread)?

Accept/Waitlist: UCLA, Cal Poly, BYU, Tulane.

Your test scores are ok, but on the low side.

You have no ECs.

Ivies would be slim to none.

Your SAT is on the low side, especially when put on the 1600 scale, which is the one that most privates really look at. Yours is 1380, which is not up to the speed for some of these colleges. I have a 1460 and I am also at the bottom of the barrel probably. Maybe the ACT is the test for you. I also agree with the others about your ECs. You need something more than that. Your college essays are going to be a pain when you have nothing to talk about because of lack of ECs. Try to do something over the summer that resonates with what you want to do in college

ohhh **** me, my parents are gonna kill me. all 3 of my brothers went to IVYs. ■■■ ■■■ ■■■, i NEED to go to an ivy, or else theyll send me back to india.

Then use them as a legacy

wait, can u use siblings as a legacy? i thought that u could only get them from parents.

Nope siblings count as legacy. But that only matters when applying ED and even then marginally
