I'm a high school student looking to get into McGill's Art and Sciences Undergrad program.
I have a 3.5 GPA, but I've taken 4 APs so far and plan to take another 3-4 next year. I also go to an extremely competitive high school that I had to apply to get into. I do a lot of extracurricular activities and lead in them all, but I understand McGill is not looking for that. I got a 2100 on my first SAT but am looking to take it again and hit above 2200.
I took the Math II SAT and got a 720. I am taking an English SAT II soon.
How do I look?

Encore une fois, here are the minimum requirements for American applicants:

http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide/standards/unitedstates

I have seen the minimum requirements, but have also heard it is much more competitive than that for American students.

Those are the minimum requirements and do not guarantee acceptance. If you are comfortably above the minimum then acceptance is most likely. No one is able to define 'comfortably" though.

Your SAT scores seem good enough. But try to raise your GPA a little bit, McGill focuses on grade 12 a lot. But overall, you seem to have a pretty good shot. Good luck!
