**Side note: I have heard that having contacts with a coach really helps in the application process, specifically at Amherst. I would love to continue playing field hockey in college regardless of where I go. Is it too late to make a connection with the coach? Amherst College is an amazing school and I would be so lucky to go. I am trying to do anything I can to enhance my application.
