the thing is, your international which is hard enough as it is, but your SAT is low FOR THESE SCHOOL. it’s not bad. just you’ll be competing with remarkable students, as you know.
I like your EC’s, I’ve always prefered randomish instead of focused to the exclusion of all else.*

It seems pretty good maybe except for SAT. I think you could have made a better score though D: But Ivies, you never know, so hopefully you would make it. I want to see your essay, since I am a Junior and would have to write some too :D! Hope that you have the best results!

well that commonapp part said activities … and playing video games is one of my activities … and in PC games… I mentioned PC games and CS specifically as I am in the school’s CS team and we have made the finals of some regional tournaments too … its just something I like to do … I dont know if the adcoms will view it as something foolish or whatever… but thats me thats what I like to do :)… It IS one of my activites…

I think you have pretty good stats. Ivies are a reach for everyone but you can probably get in to Columbia/UPenn. The ones that are easier than that are high matches/low matches/safeties. You can definitely get into most of the schools on your list with your academic achievement.

If you didn’t already apply, look into taking the ACT. It seems to favor science-minded people with the science section. Understanding that English isn’t your first language, though, leads me to believe that your SAT score will be an advantage. Your math scores are excellent, so I don’t see a big issue with your scores & great job on SAT II!

-PC Games, Xbox 360, ???

Many of the schools to which you are applying are extremely unpredictable and therefore are a reach for just about anyone, but all of the way down the line, you have a better chance than most.

The only schools I know much about are the Ivies, and I think that you have as competitive a shot as any good candidate. For an engineering program you really seem to have a lot of things working for you in math and physics which is a must, and you seem like a well rounded candidate. I think you have a good shot at all of your schools. I wish you the best of luck as well!

Left out a bunch of the schools that I wasn’t sure about. Also… I’m not so sure that you should have put the video game thing in… even if you’re amazing at them.

Harvard - High Reach
Princeton - High Reach
Yale - High Reach
Stanford - High Reach
(I put high reach mainly because you didn’t pass the 700 on writing or reading on the SAT. These schools certainly make exceptions, so there’s still a possibility)
