I think you have a very good chance of getting into Johns Hopkins. Your Math and Science scores are very good, and since u want to go into engineering that’s very important! To improve next year, I think u should continue your community service and do what makes u happy. When colleges see that u are busy with what u love to do, then they begin to like the applicant more and more. Good luck for your senior year!

Very impressive! I’d recommend talking to local college professors and try to get in some research before you send in your application. From I hear from my BME friends, the JHU BME admissions officer LOVES to see research in high school because it shows taking initiative to further your education and lets them know that you plan to research at Hopkins. Apart from that, see if you can pull your CR score to a 700. It’s not that big of a deal, but it’d definitely look really good.

In your essays, focus on community service since it looks like it was a big part of your life and that would really compliment your application. For example, my application listed all the community service groups I was in, so my common application essay talked about how I found my love for helping others. Basically find parts of your application that youwant to highlight, and write an essay explaining WHY that part of the application is so important to you.

Thanks guys, I tried to apply to about 4 internships, but I got rejected from all.
I am definitely hoping for a 700+ CR
My common app essay talked about tennis, so my supplements may talk about community service

do you plan on joining the Tennis varsity team at JHU?

No, I don’t want to play sports in college
