Schools

  1. UT - Austin ( 1st Choice McCombs, Liberal Arts 2nd Choice )
  2. Emory ( EARLY DECISION )
  3. Northwestern ( CAS ) - Chance ED also?
  4. Georgetown ( I know I need another Subject Test - McDonough/Biz )
  5. Cornell ( ILR ) - Chance ED also?
  6. Boston College ( Carroll - Business )
  7. UC Berkeley ( More of an apply just to see kinda school, probably won’t go even if I get in - Business )
  8. Northeastern ( Business )
  9. Fordham ( Business )

…and I have a few other safeties I’m already auto-admitted to. I know I’m a reach for NU, G-Town, and Cornell, but is there maybe even a little chance I can get in?

…Also I honestly have no clue if my EC’s should be considered good or not lol

Thanks!

Philosophical Inquiry Club? How does that work?

@JustOneDad
Each month we explore a certain philosophical text or idea and discuss them. For example, last month before school ended each member read Descartes " Meditations of First Philosophy " and I would usually lead them in discussions each week about he text’s. Sometimes if we just want to have a little fun we have mini-discussions over the general precepts existentialism and nihilism and stuff like that ( because it would be really difficult to have a committed club willing to read Kierkegaard or Sartre lol ). Sometimes we start clubs with formal logic problems.

Even you are from Texas, UT Austin may still not be a match as your class rank is below the auto admission cutoff. For the remaining seats, it is very competitive for both in state and oos.

Have you considered how much those OOS schools will cost?
