<p>It’s a crapshoot, but you’ve got as good a chance as anyone. Maybe even a little better (but being Asian is bad in college apps)</p>

<p>I don’t see how being Asian really affects it much… I mean, just as an example, this year, WashU’s international population from China is 70. (that’s like 4-5% of the incoming freshmen population lol)
Just wondering, are you native Chinese btw? If you are, the SAT II score won’t really impress anyone. It wouldn’t positively or negatively reflect your abilities. However, if you are not, that can be a boost.</p>

<p>I think you are in the range that WashU hopes and targets for. You also clearly don’t need fin aid so that is a plus. I think you have a really good chance if you apply ED, and if you plan on applying RD, apply for scholarships even if you don’t think you’ll get them since it shows considerable demonstrated interest.</p>

<p>I said being Asian is bad from the standpoint of it is expected that an Asian person’s scores will be significantly higher than say other races of students.</p>

<p>Not really lol. Maybe in math and sciences, but in CR and writing, I think it’s quite the opposite :P</p>
