Chance me and I chance back please: Drexel, Swarthmore, BU, BSMD

lol, I did breast cancer research and got Siemens semifinalist. As you probably know, academics, that mean SAT primarily then gpa/class rank are the most important factors. In terms of SAT (just Math + Reading for Drexel, and maybe Boston), your score suffices. However, class rank/gpa is not really competitive…your record is riddled with Bs when they want to see students who get mostly As. The next important factors are medical experience which it seems research, though significant, is your only one. Alot of applicants have a lot of hospital service, and physician shadowing which would be somewhat helpful for showing interest. So I’d say both programs are gonna be tough for you (mainly b/c of weak transcript though). In terms of Swarthmore and Penn, it seems like your transcript is going to put to sleep any reasonable chances. A lot of people here are saying that you’re in at BS/MD schools, but it’s because they don’t know that BS/MD programs are significantly tougher to get into than the normal undergrad program.
