<p>Ok, so I currently attending a local community college, I have 12 credit hours completed in my first semester, I finished with a 3.2 for the first semester. Next semester I will be completing 18 credit hours. So in grand total I will have finished 30 transferable credit hours by the end of the year. Lets say I finish my second semester with a 3.0 what are my chances of transferring into DePaul? Since I will have 30 credits when I apply they will only look at my college transcript so by than I should have around a 3.1 GPA and about 30-40 community service hours. I am applying into the journalism program and they are only asking for a minimum GPA of 2.0 but I am not sure how strict they are for transfer students (67 percent acceptance rate). I would really appreciate if you guys could give me input on my chances, I have posted 2 threads and waited patiently on replies but I never get any! I’ll chance you back!</p>

<p>I think you have a really great chance, especially considering how high your gpa is compared to the min. A 67 acceptance rate is relatively high, and there isn’t really any reason why they’d reject you… Good luck!</p>
