<p>Please give me some indication of my chances and provide me with some safety school options!</p>
<p>That’s a state with not-so-famous state colleges. I don’t think you’d want to go to the University of Rhode Island, even considering its relatively low price.</p>
<p>If your parents move to New York, try SUNY Albany or Binghamton. New York has a solid college system, especially in upstate.</p>
<p>If you just want to be away from your parents, then try International Schools — I hear that UK offers a great education in accounting even cheaper (and more valuable) than the States’, but I wonder whether you’d be receptive to the idea. You may need more APs, like 5 or more '5’s, to get there.</p>

<p>i only meant out of the state of michigan because its my top choice and probably the only public university im applying to besides william and mary and maybe uva and unc and I’m only applying to schools in the U.S. although some schools abroad are somewhat appealing the London School of Economics</p>
<p>I am sure you’ll like LSE. But I am biased as I expect to head to London after completion of my own studies Down Under. It’s the best school in Economics and Finance, possibly outside the Ivy League and Stanford.</p>
<p>In the States, I think you’ll have a better chance in NC State, since your GPA seems a little lower than the norm in Michigan, UNC, etc. You may write a good essay on how moving around had really limited you in ECs and posed a challenge in fitting into classes as compared to other applicants — but first, pull the GPA up and try to do what you really love, especially those related to finance and accounting.</p>

<p>Suggested safeties: Boston University, Villanova (good undegrad bus./finance),
Northeastern (pretty good undergrad business)</p>
<p>I give you an average chance at getting in at u of m. Otherwise your application choices would give you at least 2 college acceptances (probably all but “at least”) giving you a decision.
Your big negative is your GPA which you probably know, but your honors classes may outweigh it.
With your interest in finances, your SAT (specifically the math parts) will give you a boost in my opinion…</p>
<p>I think you have a chance at all those schools, with your biggest reach being William and Mary, although you are applying EA. High match/low reach for Boston College and high match/low reach for University of Michigan. I believe your only weakness is your GPA, which still isn’t all that bad. Perhaps if you had some leadership positions, that could help? If you had a little more to add, I believe BC and UofMich could be just high matches. Do you have a class rank?</p>
<p>I Think William and Mary and Michigan are going to be tough for you looking at your lower end gpa but you still have a decent chance. All the rest i think should be matches. Your test scores and ec’s should be good and your gpa matches decently enough. Please chance me back!</p>
