<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I am applying to all of the following Uni's but im not sure whether my stats are strong enough..</p>

<p>Harvard, Yale, princeton, Uchicago,Notre Dame, MIT, Upenn, Columbia, stanford</p>

<p>I am a US citizen living in the middle east...</p>

<p>My sat score is 2170
770 m
680 cr
720 w</p>

<p>My sat 2 math II score is 790
and im waiting on my physics score... I expect 740+</p>

<p>I am student body president..
I am founder of a community service club fundraising for a scholorship..
I am also president of a few more clubs...
I am in varsity Basketball... and captain of the Feild hockey team
I finished 3 internships... one abroad...
Head chair in Model UN
TA in duke of edinbraugh award</p>

<p>Teacher recommendations seen 1.. really good
other one..my GC says its one of the best he's ever seen
GC recommendation seems really good... he knows me really well</p>

<p>GPA is 4.6 waited
taking IB </p>

<p>My common app essay is amazing... and I worked on all of the suppplements really hard!</p>

<p>You good course rigor, good SAT IIs, a nice SAT score (for most of the schools on your list), and a bunch of leadership positions. But what do you want to study? It’s nice when your ECs reflect your intended major, as that shows passion in a particular field. You have the academic stats to get in to most places on your list, but make sure you show what you bring to the table. Your ECs/awards might hurt you, but who knows for sure! Good luck :)</p>

I tried to highlight in my application that my hook is leadership… :)</p>

<p>My essays are really good… I think…
and im one of the top 3 or 4 candidates in my country… especially since im a US citizen</p>

<p>I don’t want to be one of those really picky guys but it is a weighted GPA, not a waited GPA.</p>

<p>I guess I’m being annoying about that but at least you get a BUMP.</p>

<p>@jamzz123: You do have good leadership, and your status within your country will only help you :slight_smile: I was actually a bit harsh in my ratings; I’m siding more with Polyosophy now. Best wishes :)</p>

<p>Polyosophy underrated UPenn and Stanford in my opinion, both would be mid-high reaches. You have great stats and ECs but not amazing SAT scores, I mean they’re good, but not amazing like these colleges expect. I think you’ll be accepted to Notre Dame and UChicago, but the rest of the colleges on your list are going to be mid-high reaches, but with some luck you’ll get into one or two ;). <p>you’re international which makes it hard. your sats are good, but not for ivies… and you have no exceptional ecs. Notre Dame is your best bet…</p>
