What else do I need to do??? And what are my chances???

Your best chances are at UCB, Cornell, UV and UChicago… Decent chance at UPenn (unless you want Wharton), and HYPSM is always a crapshoot. You have a better chance than most, but be sure to really bring out your passion for music in your essays.

What the above said, also, you might want to raise your SAT score above 2250, maybe 2300. The difference is minimal on paper but it might give your application an extra push. Also, don’t most colleges recommend taking a math subject test? Good luck!

I would suggest focusing more on ways to extenuate, add, or bring out the passion in your application (music?) Your ACT in near the 75th percentile at Harvard, and your SAT is above the 50th percentile. All the other schools have similar if not lower averages.

Higher test scores are always a bonus, but at these schools nothing short of a perfect score “stands out” and if after 2-3 tries with some decent preparation you are comfortable that your scores accurately represent you you can be better served putting your focus elsewhere. Just a though.

Fantastic Job!! I would say you will get into a majority!! The thing about going that selective is that it is quite unpredictable when they have so many qualified candidates like you! Of course Harvard/Yale will be most unpredictable. I think you will get into some of the others for sure!!

Your grades, tests, and ECs are all quite good. I would say if your essays really focus on your passions and are well written and SURPRISING (as your application in general doesn’t have a “wow” factor at these schools) you will get into many.
In at UVA and Cornell, Probably in at U Chicago and Berkeley, the rest are maybes but u got dis
