Thanks so much! :) I'll Chance back, just give me the link!

Chances seem good… but no one can predict the outcome of admission with the ivies… You never know what they want!! Jaja…
As for the other schools, good shots!! (:

The Ivies are going to be a high reach (especially because of the lower Bio SAT II score given your intended major), but you have great chances with the rest of the schools on your list because of your clear devoted passion to theater and performing arts in addition to strong academics. The internship and summer course at Brown both seem very impressive!

Chance back please  http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/princeton-university/1247439-am-i-right-track-princeton.html#post13498023

Your test scores and ECs are very good.
Were there a lot more higher level classes offered in your school?
Colleges want to see that you had a rigorous course load.
If not, then your chances seem good for the Ivies. But as stated before, you can never be too sure.
I don’t know the requirements for the other colleges you chose so I can’t be of any help there.

Good luck!!

I hope I helped.
Chance me too?

Thanks

@quiksilver… The schools only take into account the top 2 subject tests. I thought Chem and Math 2 were sufficient, so Bio shouldn’t have an effect on my admissions (it was self-studied, as well). Thanks for the input :). I chanced you back

@SkilledFool… I am currently taking 4 APs. The two i took junior year were the only possible ones I could really take given my current academic standing and scheduling conflicts. Hopefully the four I am taking now (Bio, Calc BC, Physics B, and GoPo/Comp. Politics) will show the schools my rigor. Thanks for the input! I chanced you as well.

Great grades and test scores.

Thanks for the reply! BUMP…anyone else  I’ll chance back please post the link.

While the OPs scores are indeed good, a 660 CR score is not competitive for top 20 colleges. It’s at least 100 points beneath what an unhooked applicant needs For a realistic shot at Princeton. It’s by far the most important score to all non tech schools.

I think you’ll get into Brandeis, possibly Vassar and the last 4 schools on the list.

You kids need to look at this results list from an LA high school. This is reality:

http://www.pvphs.com/pdf/CollegeAcceptance.pdf

@Waverly, thanks for the reply!

While I know you may think I’m “100 points beneath having a shot”, I have been told by many people that the scores are not everything. A 2230, as I have been told, is a score above the threshold for consideration, I’d think. I strongly doubt any university would put a student immediately in the reject pile with one section that is slightly subpar to the averages… but that is just my opinion. Others have enforced this idea.

Anyone else :)
