<p>Looking to study engineering.
White male, fairly large high school in Western PA.
GPA: 4.49 weighted, top 2% in class of about 375.
SAT: 730m, 770cr, 750w
Subject Tests: 760m2, 790 chem
AP's taken: APUSH, Psych, Euro, Stats, Chem, English Lang (all 5's except 4 in Euro!) AP Scholar with Distinction
Senior Year Core Classes: AP Gov, AP Micro (school doesn't offer macro), AP Lit, AP Calc BC, CHS Physics (dual-enroll at Pitt)
EC's: over 400 hrs of service working with special needs children in/out of school, NHS, most time helping single mom with siblings, babysitting, club soccer captain, student government officer (class treasurer), and I play drums in a band, as well as being an accomplished member of my school's debate team
I worked really hard on my essays and should have great recommendations but I haven't seen those and can't judge them.
I'm also a NMSF.

<p>I think you have a great shot at all your colleges. I can’t see you nessicarily getting into all of them, but I can see you getting all except one or two. I think you have a great shot at ND EA, and I honestly think you’ll get in there, it seems like you have some great material for good essays. Obviously you have an extremely strong application, and you’ll definitely get into some good schools. Good luck!</p>
<p>I think that you have a great shot at most of your schools and that if you were interested in Ivy League you should go for it. These seem more like reach schools than anything and I think a student like you should be able to aim higher if you want. That being said, I think with good recommendations and a killer essay you will get what you want in your college education. Please chance me back.</p>
<p>i think u should aim for cornell and/or dartmouth too… i think altho they are reach schools, u might get in based on your essays/rec… dont sell yourself too short since you might be competitive for these schools too</p>
<p>Like what Goodnyte said, your ECs are not BAD, but nonetheless they fail to stand out significantly. With good recs and essays you should be set, however!</p>
