<p>Chance me please!
i'm interested in the following universities:
UT Austin
A&M college station
University of houston (main campus)
Texas State University
University of Texas at San Antonio
University of The Incarnate Word
A&M Kingsville
Baylor
University of North Texas</p>

<p>I am planning to become a biology major or pre pharmacy if it is available</p>

<p>My stats are:
SAT score- CR: 540 M:540 Writing:530 (1610)
ACT- Haven't gotten my scores back yet, but most likely somewhere around a 25-27
Rank-60% at a very competitive school
GPA: 2.82 out of 4.0
AP Classes: took 3 APs, only took one AP exam and got a 3.
Volunteer hours: around 75 hours
Jobs: Have had 3 part time jobs
Clubs: Student council, red cross, pride & spirit club, theater for 3 years.</p>

<p>Where do you think I could get in? Also, feel free to recommend any colleges in Texas that you think I could be accepted into. Thank you!</p>

<p>Well, UT looks like it may be a high reach, just because of their automatic admissions protocol (top 7% rule for in-staters and all that), A&M may be a little better but it’s still a bit of a reach, I think if you tried raising your standardized scores just a bit it would make a difference with them. Your EC’s are pretty good, though in your essays, I advise singling out features that make them unique from the other applicants in the pool. AP’s and GPA may present a bit of a disadvantage, but you never really know, especially if your essays are excellent. From what I’ve heard from other Texas applicants (I’m assuming you’re in-state?) University of Houston and some of the A&M satellite campuses might be mid-high matches. Have you considered Texas Tech and Sam Houston?
