Thanks <3

well your grades are very good i would mainly push for a high SAT score especially for Princeton try for a 2250+. Hopefully you write a good essay. Btw are you really good at hockey? that could help

You are going into 10th grade. I think you should worry more about having a good time in high school and begin your college thinking next year

You’re on the right track:)

Princeton has just been my dream school for as long as I can remember, so I’m stressing majorly about getting in already. I guess I’m pretty good at hockey, but where I live hockey is really competitive.
But thank you everyone!

Do NOT start stressing now. I’m a rising senior and I’m glad I didn’t start really stressing about colleges until this summer because it would have ruined my high school grades.

Also as good of a chance you have at Princeton (which from what you say is better than most if you keep it up), have great safety/match schools to fall in love with as well!

8th grade doesn’t matter. They don’t look at it. Anyway, this is probably too early to give a meaningful chance. However that math score is surprisingly low for a student of your caliber, so maybe start studying now for the SAT math. The CR and writing are good, no need to study those although you could practice the essay.

I will say this: your math classes are extremely strange.
10th- Trig/Prob. & Stat
11th- Pre Calc (isn’t the fact that you have completed Algebra 2 and Trig equivalent to completing precalc? If not, wouldn’t it at least be enough to take precalc honors?)
Calc (How are you taking precalc and calc at the same time?)
12th- AP Calc BC (Why even take calc in 11th grade if it’s not honors or AP and you’re going to take Calc BC in 12th?)

In conclusion, I would say skip precalc since it would be repeating material you already have learned, and skip regular calc and take Calc BC.
