Essays: Strong

Recommendations: from History teacher and English teacher should both be very positive and show me as a person very well; good relationship with college counselor so that should be pretty good too

chance me for: Williams (RD, deferred ED as double legacy), Colby, Davidson, Middlebury, BC, Hamilton, Claremont Mckenna, Scripps, William and Mary

I don’t know enough about most of these schools to make a definite judgement, but your stats appear to be really good save for your SAT. Your ECs look great and if your recommendations are really as personal as you say, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be a strong candidate for any of those schools!
I’d love it if you could chance me back!: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1571030-chances-uva-notre-dame-northeastern-2.html

williams: high reach (the fact that you got deferred being a double legacy doesn’t bode well for RD)
colby: match
davidson: low reach
middlebury: reach
bc: high match
cm: high match
i dont know much about scripps, so i can’t accurately say
william and mary: match

obviously, i’m not an admissions counselor, so i can’t say expressly what’s right and what’s not.

additionally, i’ve heard rumors that you should either submit all of your ap scores or none, because if they see that you took one, but didn’t report the score, they’ll assume that it’s a 1 or a 2, even if it’s a 3 and you chose not to report it. i would maybe think about reporting them all or none for the rest of the applications youre sending in rd

chance me back please?
