i think NYU gallatin is a match for u (that means chances are 50/50) and if U ARE TAKING THE JAN SATs AND NYU ACCEPTS THOSE......if anything needs improvement its ur math score coz u have SOLID everything else.......theres no part of ur profile that says nething but good things for u, nothing screams out "hey im horrible in this area" !!

and u have a great bunch of ECs so chill and hope that u write/wrote a good essay.

ps. chance me >> http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=282886

i agree with sniper-z, i think youre a match. i think the "-Intel Sci Fair special recognition regionally" should really help a lot too.

i'm at: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=282368

geez, what a sad attempt to have ppl give u chances. Anyway...screw the SAT the act seems to be doing better for u, if anything take taht again. ur 31 is equivalent to roughly a 2100. Your gpa is solid, and your ACT is good, but ur exc are weak. They are all school related, even if in quantity they are alot. Its hard to completely gauge ur chances w/o konwing the strength and quality of ur essays, but if they are good as most ppl will say, you have a pretty realistiic shot at NYU. dont turn in those SAT scores. bye.

Um, they're def. not all school related. Violin has some school elements but other out of school elements, student community involvement team has nothing to do with school - it's a united way thing, Colorado Youth Summit has nothing to do with school, CSU is a school... but it's a college that I don't attend so it's kind of community based, and my jobs are obviously not school related.

And sorry I'm a little cranky - operating on like four hours of sleep - but a) I have to turn in those SATs because SATIIs are required and everything gets listed on that report (though I've been told my SATs are fine for NYU) and b) I guess my sad attempt to have ppl give me chances worked on you.

hahah it didnt work on me. I didn't leave my thread to be chanced. : ) I did it since u seemed to desperate : D

well that was sweet of you.

definitely a match. Any others? Nice stats :)

Here is my chance thread. Someone please help me out. Need advice and chances for ND and the other schools!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=282480

I think your location will help you a lot, and If I were a betting man, I'd say you get in. Your tests scores are very sufficient, and your ec's look solid. If you wrote a great essay and got good reccomendations I think you're in very good shape.

Chance me if you could for my schools. My only major flaw, IMO, is my SAT Physics score (600), when applying to engineering schools. Let me know! Thanks!

Good luck with NYU!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=278704

Is NYU ur only school? Because it seems like a high match to me.. You could probably try something slightly more "reachy," just for fun if you want!

But there's nothing wrong with being content with NYU!

My turn?:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=281617

ur a match at nyu... i dont need u to chance me im already in lol.

Your SAT scores are average of the incoming freshman, grades and ECs above average. I'd say that you are a match to safe match. Good luck!

If you want to chance me... http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=284358

You've got a good to great shot at NYU, although you never know in the college game. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=284441

I'll repeat what most people said and say NYU is a reasonable match..

Chance me? I'll find out soon, and I don't want to put myself in a really good or really bad mood with a chances thread. Chance the guy above me.
