<p>Your GPA is great, but I don’t think your extracurricular activities are too strong. Being instate definitely gives you an advantage. For the most part, I agree with the above posts. However, your 1890 is on the low side if you’re ultimately going to apply for Davis and Irvine. I also struggled with the SAT (got an 1870) but took the ACT and got a 33 in my first sitting, so if you’re up for waking up early on a Saturday morning to take a long test again, I would say that it can’t hurt that much.
