If you really want to go into politics, Georgetown is your best bet but you will need to take 3 subject tests. It is still a reach but with good essays anything is possible.

Get some safeties in California. Berkeley would be a really tough admit. GPA and SAT are king.

All the schools you list are reaches, with Georgetown, Berkeley, and Northwestern being low reaches for you. The semester abroad in Israel sounds cool and I think you’ll get into at least 2 or 3 out of those 5 schools listed. Also your ACT score is much better than your SAT score, so only submit the ACT.

In my honest opinion, I think you have a high chance getting in to Georgetown, Berkeley, and Northwestern. UPenn and Columbia might be reaches for you. Still, if you write stellar essays, you have a good chance in getting into all the colleges listed. Good luck!

Chance me back please:)

The semester abroad in Israel sounds fascinating. You also have the baseline (good scores, solid extracurriculars, solid community service) and I think you have viable shot at every single one of those schools. Rate me back

Your ACT score is in the top 25% for Northwestern and is very competitive anywhere. Since most colleges review applications holistically, your extracurriculars, recommendations, and essays are very important and can make or break an application. I think you have very strong chances. Good luck

Georgetown Match
Northwestern Good Chance
Berkeley Match
UPenn Kinda reach
Columbia Reach
Since your ECs describe international experience, that definitely helps you a lot and all of your top five School pay great attention to ECs and Extras. If your ECs are really extraordinary, you will have good chances!
Hope you will get in your dream school!
Chance me back, plz!

If I were you, I’d submit just my ACT score. Your ACT is excellent while your SAT is mediocre. Your other stats are very good! Georgetown and Berkeley are matches for you, while the others (as for any student) are reaches.

Chance me back?

Georgetown or Columbia sound like the best fits for you. Your religious diversity should make you stand out, but keep in mind that these days a lot of colleges are looking to admit a lot of low socioeconomic students. Your test scores (!!) and GPA are good, and that summer in Israel should make your application stand out, so I say you have good chances at Georgetown and Northwestern, while it may be a little bit of a reach for UCBerkeley, UPENN, and Columbia.

Hey I’m in NCL too! I think you have a decent chance at all the schools on your list, and Columbia will like the semester abroad. Chance me back please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1939905-chance-me.html#latest
