Wow. Talk about making a decision. You posted this at 1:32 AM? Well, for California, it’d be 11:32 AM, but still.
Anyways, your UW GPA leaves something to be desired. Do you know you rank, or does your school not rank? It gives the colleges a good indication of how competitive and challenging the school is, so depending on that, it could lessen the impact. Your SAT…errr…you do know that ED deadline is Nov. 1st. Even if you take the October SAT, that’s pushing it.
The ECs, well, they’re pretty Asian stereotype. Have you gotten any leadership positions?
All right, from everything you have here, and assuming you get a 2100-2200 SAT last minute, then Johns Hopkins would be a high match to low reach. You are ORM from California though, so I could be giving you a bit of an optimistic outlook. Cornell is definitely a reach. I can’t say too much about the UCs; I don’t know much. Boston University is probably going to be a match to high match only because you’re in California. Boston College, maybe a safety to match. If anyone here knows more, correct me. I’m just guesstimating right now. Sorry.

My bad, it’d be 10:32 your time.

JustAnotherTry, most schools can still use your SATs even if you take them in November; so doing them in October is not a problem.

you statistics is very similar to mine if you can get your SAT up to 2100-2200.
Then you have a beter chance to get in tier 1 ucs and I think you can get into tier2 ucs without much problem.
Good luck !

Nosike:
If you take it in November, you will not get the results until late November or early December. Early decision deadline is November 1st. So while JLee would be able to use the scores for normal application, he is most certainly pushing ED with an October SAT, and they won’t even take a November SAT.

Why on earth would BU be harder coming from CA?

The top 2 UCs and Cornell will be tough. The rest are doable if you bring up the scores, though USC and BC will be reaches.
