ok first i would not knock off athletics, colleges want to see that you are very balanced

you say you take the most AP’s in your school but compared to other schools you are more along the higher norm b/c i know kids in my school taking 5 or 6 and we are a pretty good public BUT since your school is different and they needed to make special exceptions, you are set since they will receive a school report

-Swarthmore - in
-Hampshire - never heard of it
-Oberlin - never heard of it
-Kenyon - never heard of it
-Harvard - you can’t ever predict harvard
-Franklin and Marshall - in
-Dartmouth - if valedictorian, id say in
-Case Western - never heard of it
-University of Delaware Honors Program (in state) - DEFINITELY haha
-Wesleyan - good chance, im from CT!
-Brandeis - tough, but definitely doable

you could pick some tougher schools! you have the numbers definitely

wanna chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/867756-chance-me-i-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Harvard, Dartmouth, and Swarthmore are in question. You have a chance though, you’re not out of it.

Everywhere else you should be in. You have good grades and test scores, and a rigorous course load from an under represented state. Your ECs are very unfocused though, and it does look a bit like a laundry list. DO you come from a financially disadvantaged family?

And finally, you said you’d worship me as a god, I’ll take my sacrifices as lifestock and female virgins > age 18.

There’s no way that I’m in at Swarthmore, that school is like an ivy, haha. I actually may take 5 APs next year, but I’m not certain. My progression will be 9th: 0 10th: 2 11th:3 12th:4 or 5. Most people at my school have 9th: 0 10th: 1 11th:2 12th: 3. So I’ll be graduating with at least 2 more APs than the rest of my class and 3 more than most of the top quintile.

My ECs are primarily focused around educational reform, that’s why I asterisked most of those. I’ll probably knock of academic bowl and math league if I have to just to give myself some more focus. I’m going to package myself on my apps that way. My ECs will look more like:
-Published author on education reform
-Interned at the Lieutenant Governor and served on the selection committee for Models of Excellence in Education
-Student Advisory Board Member at school for disadvantaged girls
-Tutor at school for disadvantaged girls’ school

-Swarthmore - match
-Hampshire - idk
-Oberlin - match
-Kenyon - idk
-Harvard - high reach
-Franklin and Marshall - match
-Dartmouth - reach
-Case Western - high match
-University of Delaware Honors Program (in state) - Match
-Wesleyan - match
-Brandeis - low reach
-Smith - match
-Mount Holyoke - match
-Goucher - match
-American - match

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/863351-chance-small-school-junior-steel-city-richmond-cmu-ect.html</a></p>

i would put sports as well. those were my main EC’s for UNC and BC and i got in to those so it shows that sports can really help!

I don’t understand why everyone thinks these top schools are a match for me. Aren’t they high reaches for pretty much everybody?

See, I’m thinking about quitting swimming next year. I really don’t like it even a little bit so I don’t see why I would continue. That’s kind of why I’m deemphasizing sports.

thanks for the chance!

-Swarthmore - match
-Hampshire - N/A
-Oberlin - N/A
-Kenyon - N/A
-Harvard - high reach
-Franklin and Marshall - match
-Dartmouth - reach

-University of Delaware Honors Program (in state) - match
-Wesleyan - match
-Brandeis - high match
-Smith - match
-Mount Holyoke - match
-Goucher - match
-American - match

Harvard - Rejected. I would not even consider it a high reach.
Dartmouth - Medium/Low Reach

The rest look more probable.

Bedumpppppp
