Chance Me and Recommendations - Midwest Nursing Schools

Hi everyone! I am in the class of '22 and have been set on pursuing a BSN for several years. I am applying to the following schools (all EA):

I’d say Michigan a reach. Case a reach. Ohio State a match. Purdue and Mich State in between likely and match. I believe some are not direct admit so you are ok getting in the university but then have to succeed to get into nursing. Mich State for example.

Thanks so much! Every college is direct admit except for MSU, which my counselor recommended as my safety

Sounds like you know your stuff. In case this helps you find others…your list is too short in my opinion.

Being in state, your chances at Michigan schools are higher.

Consider Xavier and Marquette as matches as well. They may give great merit for your GPA.

Nursing is competitive so cast a wide net.

What’s your budget?

Pitt, Cincinnati, Dayton? Ohio State?

I’d like to stay near in-state tuition, so OOS with merit would be ideal if Umich didn’t work out.
