Chance Me and Some Q's

Hi I'm a junior who wants to attend UCSB

SAT: 1850

Grades:
Sophomore: 5 A's, 1 B (both semesters) 2 honors courses
Junior: 4 A's 1b (1st semester) 2 ap's 2 honors couses
GPA: something like 4.1 weighted and 3.7 unweighted
EC's: 2years xcounty, 1 year baseball and tennis
Member of Deca, Interact, and Guitar Club
Awards: Scholar Athlete Award, top 8 in deca competition

Do I have a good chance of getting into UCSB? And how does UCSB look at grades, weighted or unweighted? And how does UCSB calculate weighted grades?

You need to calculate your UC gpa. Which is the weighted GPA with the grades from your sophomore and junior years. However, the UC gpa is capped at 8AP/Honors points, just FYI.

Your SAT is a little low but your GPA looks great. I’d say you have a good shot! They look at grades, scores, essays, extra curriculars, etc. Good luck! I hope you get in!

I would definitely take the SAT again if you have not already done so just to better your chances. Other than that, the most important thing for you is to do your absolute best this semester, straight As would be very helpful. UCSB (and all the UCs) calculate your GPA using only A-G courses from sophomore and junior year. Here is the UC website, you should go wander around there, it is very informative.
