Bump 10 char…

Probably Matches at all, but ACT is a bit on the low side.

kim1g428 - I know. But will it bring down my app drastically?

No it shouldn’t as your ECs and recommendations seem great. If you can take the ACT once more and get a higher score, try for some higher-level institutions. BTW, are you applying for Financial aid? Because that will greatly detract from your application, let alone the fact that you are an intl student.

Yep. Financial Aid is a priority for me. I know that will be a deterrent in my app, but I can’t help that.

In that case, not matches but reaches for all the schools… I’m also an intl and I know that the only way to make FA not affect you is to apply to need blind institutions.

Bumpity bump.

Shameless Bump 1

Unfortunately, as an international needing aid, it will come down to whether they need to give aid to get representation from your country and how you stack up against other applicants from it. So you’re in good shape if you’re from a country sending few applicants.

2college2college - Thanks! I get that.

Shameless Bump 2! :D

I think you’ll do well. Your ECs are great, good rank, and I don’t think a 29 will kill you, but it’s not gonna do you any favors. You could retake it, but I doubt it will make much difference. You’re in at Wooster, I’d say. Don’t know Providence, but I think Oberlin is a possibility. Bryn Mawr may be a bit of a reach, but I think you have a great shot at all your schools. Good luck!

SgtDonut - Thank you! I love Oberlin and Hamilton a lot, though!

Shameless Bump 3!

your act fits within the range of all of the schools and is higher for some of the schools so I don’t think it should make that much of a difference. with your ranking and fantastic ECs I can’t imagine you’ll be rejected by any of these schools. good luck

(ps I’m interested in studying neuroscience as well. and biomed engineering too.)

pfips123 - Tha

pfips123 - Thank you! I appreciate the chance. Neuroscience seems like SO MUCH FUN! ;)

And now, Shamless Bump 4!

Bumping it up!

Okay, last bump.
I’m just going to submit most of my applications.
And I’m still doubtful about Hamilton and Oberlin, as they’re fantastic liberal arts colleges!
