now please make my day :)

anyone?! please chance me! :)

Your SAT score is right on target and you have good ECs, not to mention you’re OOS (which Pitt is loving since the state funding cut).

I’m thinking you should get in just fine, good luck regardless!

thanks so much! I hope I get in too I really like the school :)

You seem to have a real good shot at getting in. If you can raise your SAT score, you can increase your chances at getting a scholarship or even honors college (need another 100 points CR+M).

And apply early!

I am sending my application in about 1 week! I think that is early but apparently some people applied in like July.

anymore opinions out there?!! help me out please!

I just sent in my application :)

Good luck! It really is an excellent school. My son applied and was accepted to Pitt.Their admissions process is the most streamlined and compassionate (in terms of wait time) we’ve seen.

Thanks!!! did he apply this year? some people have already gotten in!

you should be in

Thanks so much! I hope so!

My son got in last year with almost the exact SAT (his Math was 710 and CR was 600), not as many AP’s as you, similar weighted gpa and a little higher unweighted (3.9). Your EC’s are better than his, which is good for you because Pitt does look at the whole picture more than other similar universities. He applied about the same time you did and received his acceptance packet within 4 weeks. At the time it was his top choice, so it was such a relief to receive the acceptance so early.

I think you have a great shot - good luck.

Thanks so much!! and yes I am hoping for that feeling of relief

I just received my acceptance! thanks so much!

Congratulations laxforlife! What a relief, huh?! :)

Anyone know which of the schools at Pitt is the most competitive for admission?

Congratulations lax!! You applied 10/17 when was your app complete? They seem to have a fast turn around time. I can’t wait until I hear something…

My app was complete by 10/18 so they are really really quick I was so surprised when it was in the mail!!! such a relief  They were very nice too so it said congratulations on the OUTSIDE of the big envelope! good luck to everyone else I hope you all get in! And i think the Pittsburgh campus is the most competitive
