<p>I am applying to four schools for the ninth grade:
Milton Academy, Phillips Andover Academy, and Phillips Exeter Academy, and BC HIGH
I'm really just asking about Andover, Exeter and Milton. I already have been accepted to BC high with a Gonaza Scholar. </p>
<p>I go to a WInchester Middle school in MA, it is considered top public school in massachuetts.
7th grade grades:
English/ History A-, A-,A- , Overall A-
Spanish Overall A-
Math Overall A (she doesn't give A+, my average was 97)
Science Overall B-
Social Studies A+ overall </p>
<p>Eighth grade (first quarter): not as strong, will this be a major or minor setbacK??? i did much better in 6 and 7th
English/History: B-
Science: B+ Spanish: A
Honors Algebra: A- </p>
<p>I play both the violin and the piano, violin for 8 years, piano for 5</p>
<p>I'm play piano in the symophy hall in boston , advanced audition.
I have been in my school's orchestra for 3 years, and im concert master.
I swim on the melrose shark, very comptetive team..excellent swimmer 30 sec 50m freestyle.
im in the winchester u14 varsity tennis
im on the school math team, captain of the team.. wom many awards including amc-8 perfect score, math counts state finalist, and perfect scores on math meets.
I got a 91 (85 math, 91 vocab, 97 reading comp.) percentile on the ssat
My ssat essay was ok.
My interview went very well, the interviewer was very happy and i was able to her everything, and she seem very interested too.
I have very good recommendations from my math, english, and piano teachers( for milton also from my science teacher), and also art teacher (excellent one because im like her favorite student.
i wrote very good essays for the applications....
what are my chances!!!

<p>what do you think makes you unique? theres a whole lottttttttt of chinese kids who have perfect 99%'s and can play violin proffesionally and all that jazz.... why should they pick you?</p>

<p>If you believe the 50 Free is your best event, really really work on it... most freshman (who dont swim year round) have 27s and 28s... At states, the times were flirting with 21s 22s and 23s...</p>
<p>i think you have a great chance but your grades might hurt you a little. If you go to Exeter and Andover's website you can see an application of a student that got accepted. It didn't show their grades but it said "Excel in Math and Science". The AMC-8 should help you though. But good EC's on the other hand.</p>
<p>Just exeter, my parents wouldn't let me apply anywhere else because after I visited exeter they realized they didn't want me to leave, haha. I posted something asking about my chances and all my info is on there. You can take a look at that.</p>
