<p>Does Purdue do impacted majors or colleges? Would it be better for me to apply to the college of sciences and major in physics (that's my second choice)?</p>
<p>you have a very good chance since your GPA is so high! it may be harder to get into the engineering college though, i know it is like that for many other schools. best of luck.</p>
<p>Agreed with estan736. Engineering at Purdue is competitive as is. I would be more comfortable with a higher SAT/ACT score (probably 1200+) and just keep working hard and don’t let the GPA slip.
They do consider your choice of program as part of the criteria and might offer alternate program of study when they release the decision</p>
