<p>At Andover (and the others, I’m sure), it’s very unusual to apply as an 11th grader. Traditionally, 11th grade is supposed to be the most challenging year in many BS and they often want students to have a buffer before they approach that year. My cousin applied to Andover for the 11th grade, and the school asked her to apply for 10th grade and repeat that year, which she did. Would that be something you would consider?</p>
