Chance Me?? Architecture/Preservation Major

Note to all responders/readers: some stats/ec’s are rough estimates or predictions as I am a current junior in high school (some stats could improve or worsen)

Planned major: Architecture/ Historic Preservation (Thinking about Industrial Design/ Art History/ Art/ Urban Planning)

Race: White
Gender: Male
State: Illinois
SAT: 1410
ACT: 31
GPA: 4.9
UW GPA: 3.6
Grades: Majority A’s, with some B’s, and a C in both semesters of math Freshman year, one C first semester of math Sophomore year, and one C in Chemistry first semester (math is obviously not my strong suit, but I’ve been improving each year in math + all of my classes). I understand where I went wrong freshman and sophomore year, and I’ve learned and grown so much since then. I’m relying more on my portfolio/ art/ essays/ supplements/ ECs to get me in.

  • my grades and GPA throughout high school definitely show an “upward trend”
