Chance Me: Architecture Schools

Some of the schools I'm planning on applying to for architecture include Rice University, Cornell University, UT-Austin and Cooper Union. All of them are for regular decision.

I have automatic admission into UT Austin, but that's no guarantee on whether or not I'll be able to get in their architecture school. I know that all of these schools are very competitive and the portfolios/interviews weigh a lot for Rice and Cornell and the studio test for Cooper Union is crucial, but I was wondering on what my chances would be not including those things.

My portfolio will cover a variety of things including still life, literature to art interpretations, sculptures, architectural models, sketches/thought processes. My college essay won't be too shabby either.

SAT I: 2080
SAT II: U.S. History: 720, Spanish: 740, Math I: Pending

My architectural credentials:

4 years Architecture Studio/Drafting class (I know drafting doesn't matter too much to colleges, but hey it's considered commitment)

Full school year internship with an architecture firm (10 hrs/week)

1st place winner of my city's AIA sponsored design competition for local high school students

Honorable Mention for Sustainable Industrial Design from Gulf Coast Green

Summer Program for Architecture at University of Houston

Technology Student Association Member ( Best In State Architectural Projects - 3 years)

Here's the rest of my high school "resume":

I'm a South Asian Female from Texas, if that makes any difference...

Am I considered "average" or do I have a chance at least at UT? What about the other schools?

UTA Arch: Accepted
Rice: Waitlisted
Cornell: Waitlisted
Cooper: It’s almost impossible to chance for Cooper lol

Thanks for the chance!

I’m not too familiar with architecture schools, but based on overall school reputation, I would agree with the above. And I have no idea what Cooper Union is…Sorry :/
