F, Asian, no hooks.

IBs: Physics SL, Math HL, Chem SL, Eng. HL, 20th c. World Area Studies HL, Econ SL (IB Diploma candidate, don't have access to the scores from last year until school starts)

ECs: Piano for 12 years, got my grade 8 ABRSM diploma. Counselor at overnight camp for children with disabilities. Shelved books at my library (volunteer). Volunteered at the local food bank. My main EC (around 300-400 hours)= helping out at church in various areas: most is as the worship leader/ coordinator for church's youth group (lot of planning and weekly responsibilities, training people, etc). Others: VBS, assistant to art teacher for summer program for kids at church. Not involved in much at school: NHS, of course; Nat. Spanish Honor Society, Badminton Club VP. I hope my other ECs can make up for my lack of involvement in school clubs.

Arch related classes I've taken: 2 yrs physics, 2 years arch, 4 years art at school. I'm still working on my portfolio, but I believe it should be varied and good when I am finished.
I'm also fairly certain I can get good rec letters and write killer essays.

Chance me for: Cornell, Rice, Syracuse, UT Austin (arch preferred)?
My safeties are A&M and UT Dallas.
My first choice is UT Austin because of proximity and cost, but I am not auto admit.

Thank you!
