Transfer application (Common App and USC Supplement) completed and submitted for transfer into class of 2016. What I can’t tell is whether letters of recommendation from college professors are required or necessary. 1st semester college transcript already in. Applied to USC last year and was admitted and high school is sending in all prior reccs and school report, grades, scores, etc. Just can’t tell if college reccs should be part of the package. Anyone?

Check with your daughter’s school/major to see if recommendations are required. If they are, or if she has a good recommendation that she wants to submit, it is not too late to do so.

Good luck!

Thanks Alamemom!

I would say higher than 50/50. USC is kind of notorious for being much easier to get into via transfer than straight out of high school.
