I'm currently enrolled in 13 hours at a CC. I have a 3.0 and I took 10 credits last semester (I was in the hospital for two weeks and it was really rough catching up. I know, my life's a sh** show.) I graduated from HS June 2013.

Applied for Summer 2014. Hopefully summer is an easier term to get into?
SAT:
-Reading: 600
-Math: 570
-Writing: 660 (Essay: 10)
ACT: Never took it. Definitely should have.
Unweighted GPA: 2.6 (saying I had a rough senior year--in every aspect possible-- is a gross understatement and my grades were definitely affected)
Weighted GPA: 3.2
APs : I took 8 and passed 3. My HS was college prep so all my classes were honors or AP save for a few electives.
EC: I have a lot. The most notable could be that I'm in the International Thespian Society and was an officer for drama club, I was involved all four years. I was also on a council for the senior/freshman mentor program, was in Leadership, and did student gov't.
Volunteer/Community Service: 120+ hours.
75 or so were at a hospital.
Been working for almost a year at my new job and have been promoted 3 times...
Ethnicity: White, Hispanic
Gender: Male

I think my essay was quite good. I like to think I'm a talented writer, given that's what I want to end up doing and all.

I know my stats are basically poor. I'm awful about applying myself sometimes, as evidenced by my high school stats. My mom gets super frustrated because I'm 'gifted' and if I wasn't lazy I probably wouldn't have gotten rejected from FSU in my senior year.

I just got accepted into UNF, I don't know how they stand in comparison, honestly.

I put in my application on December 31st and all of the subsequent paperwork arrived shortly thereafter. Hoping to hear back soon. I don't know if I've left anything out, really.

I have Florida Prepaid and I've heard rumors that they like those applicants because they know they'll be able to afford it. Of course I don't see how this makes sense because I had to give my CC my Florida Prepaid info so I'm not even sure if FSU would know I have Florida Prepaid.

Anyway, thanks for chancing. I'm trying to stay optimistic because "you never know" but I think realistically it'll be rejection numero dos from FSU.
