<p>I'm Asian, (which i know will automatically put me at a disadvantage)... >_<</p>

<p>SAT's: (have only taken it once, am taking it again in october)</p>

<p>CR: 610
M: 760
W: 680</p>

<p>SAT II's: (question: how heavily are these looked at?)</p>

<p>Math I: 710
Physics: 610 (... not good, i know)</p>

<p>GPA: My school hasn't given me my accumulated GPA starting from freshmen year,
but if i were to guess:</p>

<p>around 95ish</p>

<p>Class rank: (again, havent received exact, yet)
but they did tell me:</p>

<p>top 10% of about 300student class (this is without including my junior year grades)</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:</p>

<p>Phoenix school newspaper: editor gr. 12, have been in since gr. 10

Volunteered at elderly healthcare center for three weeks (only gr.9)

<p>Also, if it means anything to colleges, i did take AP Lang/Comp, US History and AP Calculus AB junior year (still waiting in AP scores though!!)</p>

<p>I want to major in ARCHITECTURE</p>

Cooper Union
Yale (just for the heck of it)
Syracuse University
Northeastern
Pratt Institute
Roger Williams</p>

Cooper Union = match
Yale (just for the heck of it) = reach
Syracuse University = Slight reach
Northeastern = Match/slight reach
Pratt Institute = match/slight reach
Roger Williams = Safety</p>

<p>Impossible to chance for Cornell, Cooper, Syracuse, or Pratt without a portfolio. Why do you want to go to Yale or Northeastern for undergrad arch? Also, I think you should put Virginia tech and Penn State on your list if you want to do architecture… maybe look up some more schools with a strong B.arch programs.</p>

<p>Of course your APs for this year matter to colleges, and being Asian does not automatically squander your chances of getting into a good school. Good luck with your applications!</p>

<p>looks like I have some competition lol. i’d suggest schools that I’m not applying to, but I’m not nearly that sly or mean. I basically agree with what superstar said, except Cooper Union is definately a reach. I mean like DEFINATELY.</p>
