I’m a junior at a Phoenix metropolitan area high school
I intend to major in Civil Engineering at ASU and I want to know my chances of getting into Barret the honors college.
my stats:
-4.0 unweighted 4.6 weighted
-rank: 1/356
-SAT:1700 (Math:610 Reading:720 Writing:370)
Classes:
-3 AP’s (Lit,Calc,Gov)
-10 honors
Ec:
-3 years of varsity Football
-Health Occupational Students of America( treasurer, went to state and nationals got some awards)

  • National Honors Society
    -Avid
    -Pre Calc tutor (2x a week)
    -Math club member
    -Various community service projects every year
    -Student of the semester 6x (ap lit, world history H, Chem H, Calc)

I think you have a near 100% chance of getting in.
Basically the admissions officers, will take one glance at you’re application and say, In.
Higher than average SAT, High GPA, Sports, leadership.
I think Barret would also be a great choice for a good student in Arizona. However If you retook your SAT’s and simply improved your math a bit I don’t think an Ivy/ Top ten would be unreachable.
