.

How did you get an 800 in writing with an 8 on the essay?

And your 3 scores add up to 2310 not 2300

My bad, I got a 790 on the writing. Don’t know why I wrote 800. And I got no writing multiple choice wrong so the 8 on the essay only took off 10 points.

Writer for the Huffington Post?? Do they pay you? How did you get that job??

Thanks but I did not write to brag. Can someone please chance me?

Your chances are about as good as nearly everyone else who is applying- almost zero. With acceptances rates so low, it’s impossible to chance people at the very top schools. With your stats and extracurriculars, do you have a shot? Absolutely, but nothing is definite. There are people with perfect scores and extracurriculars, especially Asians, who got rejected from every Ivy.

Your SAT II scores are quite low. Also, for people applying to Ivies, most of them already have several APs (usually around 4-6 AP exams) at the end of their junior year. Do you have any national awards or major hooks beside some school awards?

You have a good chance…but still, it’s always possible to get denied all tbh. I have a friend with 2330 and 4.8 (4.0 UW) and she got denied UPenn and waitlisted dartmouth. Though, you will surely be admitted UCLA and Berkeley
