ec: student senate
double poli sci/english major with a minor in mandarin chinese, i took 4 real classes last semester plus a college orientation (mandatory) course, currently taking astrobiology, chinese, english literary analysis, international politics, and intro to theater to fulfill an arts credit. currently a freshman, they will only see my 1st semester grades</p>

<p>essay: Wrote an essay geared towards Brandeis...begins, "getting rejected from Br. was the best thing that could have happened to me..." personal growth, dissenting a popular bill in senate and standing up for myself, changing into a more motivated, focused person, want to attend law school, i like brandeis because its awesome etc....</p>

<p>currently at the University of Rhode Island, sent UNH my brandeis essay.</p>

<p>i'm not sure how that essay is going to be perceived since you immediately say "Its a great thing that I got rejected from your school" but if you feel confident that it shows all those point, I think you have a shot. Your college gpa is very good but your ec's are lacking. If you noticed, brandeis transfer rate is higher than its freshman acceptance rate so I think you stand a chance.</p>

<p>Ive seen it posted as between 35-47 percent...quite a range</p>
