Chance me at Brown?

Grades:
Grades are my lowest point. I get mostly As and I've gottn a few Bs. I'm guessing my unweighted GPA is about a 3.9 from what I've heard. My weighted GPA is a 4.27, with freshman year being a 4.0, sohpmore year being a 4.2, and junior year 4.7. I am going to be right around that 10% mark as class rank.

Scores:
My ACT composite score is a 30. AP Psychology and history scores are 4s.

Courses:
I have taken a significant number of honors and AP classes, especially sophomore, junior, and will be taking them senior year.

Recommendations:
I am very confident that I will have very strong recommendation letters, as one of the teachers who is writing one says I am different from any student she has ever had.

Personality qualities:
I am very different from most students. I take a deep interest in politics (uncommon at my school) and am very liberal. I am huge on philosophy, specifically existentialism, music, poetry, and am overall diverse. I am very self discplined and will sit down to study for hours a day if needed, and show this self discipline in several other ways.

Extracurriculars:
This is my strongest point. For five years thus far, I organize my own charity event and have raised over $30,000 for homeless animals and have gotten thousands of different people involved in the run/walk I organize. I have been on television and in the newspaper several times, including NBC.
I am also involved in 11 different clubs, and have had one board position junior year, and will have 4-5 senior year. One of these is National Honors Society president. One of the clubs that I am involved in, forensics speech and debate, involves going to tournaments almost every weekend to perform, and I have gotten to finals at tournaments several times.
I used to run cross country and track, where i received varsity. I have been playing soccer for 12 years now, as well.
I am also volunteering by helping children in Costa Rica this summer.

Brown is my dream school and I am visiting there this summer and will most likely apply early decision! Thank you!

Brown: reach.

Brown: Reach

The main factor working against you is your ACT score. If you can, retake it, and aim for a 33 or higher. GPA is good, class rank is OK, and extracurriculars are awesome. All of the charity stuff looks amazing, but being in 11 clubs isn’t really a good thing. It makes it appear that you aren’t dedicated to many things. Of course, your essays could prove otherwise. Consider only listing the most important clubs that you have.
