Reccomendations:
I'm definitely going to get good ones from my GC, my math/computer science/engineering teacher, and my english teacher

Thanks for helping me out!

def in 10 chars

what does 10 chars mean??

I also forgot to mention that my sister attended BU and graduated in 2006 (she majored in finance and marketing, nothing near my major) I'm not sure if that will help me get in.

10 characters because my post was too short to post.

ohh ok

thanks for the opinion

in.............
why do you even ask when you know you are getting in??

dnduswo: I'm not sure if I'll definitely get in because they have a very good biomedical engineering program, so I'm guessing its harder to get into that than just getting into BU

yea id say your almost definitely in

bump

Do you think I should declare my race (asian) or just dont answer the question on the common app? Does it make a difference in admissions?

Thanks

it won't make much of a difference. you're in.

Thanks for all of your replies

bump bump bump

anyone else have any opinions?

bump again

bump once again...

just give your race...if your name is a generic "Patel" or "Lee", they'll know anyway...Not declaring your race when you're in fact Asian may seem dodgy and clever to adcoms; in essence, it can only hurt you to do such a thing. Oh, definitely in; why not consider some other schools (within your GPA range of course)?

no need to bump this post, you got the responses you wanted already...
