Hi all
Please let me know what you think my chance would be at both or either school( Lafayette or bucknell). I'm undecided for my major, possibly English based. I'd be applying regular decision to both since they are both expensive. Also let me know which you feel would give me a better experience overall

I think you have a pretty good chance, but maybe you should improve your GPA a little. You should also do a college visit to show interest. Good luck applying!

To be honest, your chances dont look great because of your GPA. I was admitted to Lafayette and rejected by Bucknell. I know that they both weight GPA very heavily and youd need a 96 or better to be a strong match, and your 30 ACT will not make up for your mediocre GPA.

Consider applying ED to one of them, the only reason I did not was bc my first choice only offered EA (Villanova), I’ll be attending in the fall.

You should also look at Union, Conn Coll, Gettysburg (especially) and Dickinson if you are interested in LACs. I was admitted to Union, Lehigh, Lafayette, Villanova, Fordham, Syracuse, UMD, AU in DC, so if you have any questions PM me
