Chance me at Caltech and MIT please

Hello,

Can you give me a guesstimate at whether or not I’ll get into either Caltech or MIT.

Anyways here the details in the standard-ish format.

Diversity (or lack thereof)-
White/male/from the Northeast/go to a private school/2nd generation

SAT’s-
SAT 1540 (770 in both) and 6’s across the board for the essay

SAT Math 2- 790

SAT Chem- 760

EC’s-
Started a cryptology club at my school

Participate in the Olympic Dev. Program for an extremely obscure sport (about as obscure as something like curling or horseback riding)

Started a small tech startup (that is admittedly in the product development phase so we haven’t made some small fortune or anything)

On the board of the engineering club at my school

Community Service- 20-40 hours

One 1st with a team of 6 at a small international STEM competition (but, in fairness, this was a very small competition so its not like winning the Siemens or anything)

Recs.-
I’m not too sure about my recs. My english teacher didn’t like me at first, but I made a lot of progress in her class over the course of a year so I think she liked me by the end. My science teacher said she always writes nice recs and I asked her some questions outside of class 9 too so I think she’ll give me a good one. Also my

Any input is appreciated, even if you want to tell me that I’ll never get in (honesty is the best policy after all).

Thanks mates

You are a competitive applicant. If your essays are good I could see you getting into either of these schools

Unless you were on the US IMO team or something, those two schools are pretty much crapshoots for everyone. I applied to both, got rejected by Caltech and accepted by MIT.
