If you know anything about those schools as well, please let me know.

Thanks so much! I'll offer to chance back, but I'm definitely not an authority on admissions

unfortunately, you dont have much of a chance at all. youre gpa isnt high enough, and neither are your sat2 scores. your extracurriculars arent very impressive, and you dont really have any important leadership roles. i wouldnt look at top 15 schools if i were you, but if you really want to go to one, apply to chicago or northwestern. those are the easiest to get into.

Don’t listen to that pessimistic jerk hagger; he’s applying ED to Columbia and doesn’t want competition, especially from students with good chances, like you.

Your ACT and SAT II scores are right now not terrific, but should keep you in the ballpark. Your ECs are quite impressive, and you should mention your AP scores when applying. Last year, the chance of making Columbia increased almost three times for ED, and about half of the incoming class was filled with ED students. I think if that’s your top choice for school, you ought to apply early. Good luck!

Thanks so much. I’ve been wavering between just giving up and applying early decision somewhere that isn’t such a gamble, but you’ve inspired me to apply to the place I most want to go, even if I’m unsure. I’ve been on the verge of death from studying for the upcoming ACT, so I kind of needed a little pep talk.
