Chances?

the act may be the only weak link, other than that everything looks solid!

@benvenuta Chanced you back, good luck

Also my recommendations are pretty solid. My teacher read my recommendation to me (IDK why) and it seemed like I walked on water. My guidance counselor talked about my dad and the abuse that came with it mentally and physically.

Haha we are very similar! You show a definite passion and focus in your extracurriculars, and the company sounds pretty interesting. ACT is on the low side, try to retake it for a 32+. There are so serious flaws in your application aside from that, so Cornell should be a low each. Good luck!

For Cornell? Your competitive, actually really solid!

bump

You’re in

Wow, you should be proud… you definitely have some great extracurricular and academic achievements… particularly how you interned in Washington with your senator. What do you want to study? I would not be worried if I were you and I was applying to Cornell. Would LOVE it if you could chance me back for either of mine: Thanks <3

I often stress the applicants about finding a unique EC and excelling in it. Your application looks PERFECT to me. I wouldn’t add or improve anything. I love your outstanding EC’s and don’t stress out about your ACT score, it’s pretty solid for Cornell. I am 100% sure you will be accepted. Good luck and could you chance me back on the link below? Thanks. :slight_smile:
<a href=“Can I get accepted? - Harvard University - College Confidential Forums”>Can I get accepted? - Harvard University - College Confidential Forums;

Your writing score for the ACT is amazing! I think you have a strong chance since you got a lot of good ECs. Good luck!! :smiley:

it should be a coin flip, ACT is a bit below but everything else is fine. EC show interset in ILR mindset
chance- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1709535-overly-ambitious-chances-kinda-reach-heavy.html#latest</a></p>

Your ACT puts you in range, I believe, but it’s still semi-reachy just because it’s an Ivy. You can probably get in, especially if you went with ED, because your ECs and backstory more than balance out the test score. Good luck!

You definitely have a great chance, like others said your act’s are a tad weak but they are more than good enough to have your application considered at which point everything else you have should be sufficient to get you into Cornell. Best of luck!
