Chance Me at Cornell University

I’m currently a community college student looking to transfer to Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences to earn a bachelor’s in computer science. If you don’t think I can get accepted into Cornell, please suggest me some good computer science schools where I have a better chance of getting into. Thank you!

High School Stats:
GPA: 3.4 Unweighted, 4.1 Weighted
SAT 1570/2400 (Yes I know it’s REALLY low)
Rank: 71/630 (top 13% of my class)
AP’s: AP Physics B (3), AP Macroeconomics (3), AP Psychology (4), AP Microeconomics (4), AP Computer Science A (2)
EC’s: Class Council

Current College Stats:
GPA: 4.00/4.00 with 64 credits
Major: Computer Information Systems
EC’s: Founder and President of Computer Science Society, Member of Asian Student Alliance, Participated in MedHacks 2.0 and won finalist out of 50 teams, Participated in HackPrinceton, Participated in PennApps, Work as a Disabilities Support Service Associate at my college.

I don’t think you’d get in, just because of your SAT. However, it’s still possible, I’m not entirely sure what’s weighted more in the transfer process. But, for some schools that are easier to get in to, and have great CS, you might want to look at UIUC, UT-Austin, Georgia Tech, or U washington. Good luck.

As you surely know, your weak SAT is killing your chances, and computer science is competitive enough as it is. You really ought to retake it if you want to transfer, or consider other schools with good computer science programs, like @Plumbus recommended.

I am not sure if that SAT score is good enough for the other schools @Plumbus has mentioned. It may be for Transfer students…Please check on that.
