<p>Hello. Please Chance for Georgetown (McDonough), Duke, Vanderbilt, UVa, and George Washington. Miami of Ohio is my safe school and I know I will get in there haha</p>

<p>I applied to Georgetown's McDonough School of Business to study international business and it is my top choice.</p>

My school rarely sends kids to top schools. We had one go to UVa, but that's it

<p>Your scores aren’t amazing, but your grades are! This just shows that you’re not naturally a super genius, but you work hard, and you’re definitely intelligent. Your extracurriculars are pretty good too, so I don’t think you’ll have too much trouble being accepted into George Washington and UVa, even Vanderbilt. Duke and Georgetown aren’t out of reach, but they might be a bit harder. Good luck!</p>

<p>You have excellent GPA, but I’m not sure about your scores. I have a 3.98 UW (4.73 W) GPA and I sent a 2050 (1360 M+R) SATs to Georgetown and I got deferred from Georgetown College (my school is extremely competitive though.) I’m not sure if the business school at Georgetown has a different admittance rate. To me, I think Georgetown is a crapshoot since their overall admittance rate for Early Action was 15% this year (even lower than HYP SCEA admittance rates.) Hopefully your EC’s, essays, and GPA will help you! </p>

<p>Georgetown said they will only look at my ACT since it is highest but I don’t know how much my 560 on the Literature will hurt me since they only recommend the subject tests.</p>

<p>Are you from VA? If not, UVa will be competitive like Georgetown, Duke, and Vandy. (OOS acceptance rates ~22%.) Your grades and ECs are great, though, so you have a really great chance! Good luck!</p>

<p>What would you say is holding me back from Georgetown? I thought my 32 ACT was at the higher end of their range.</p>
