<p>Hello all! This is my first thread on CC and I'd love your honest opinions on the strength of my college application relative to the schools I wish to apply to. I'd love to attend a strong engineering school in the southeast, so if you have any suggestions other than the schools listed I'd appreciate it if you could share! Anyways, here's my list so far. </p>

<p>Georgia Tech
University of Florida
University of Texas
Florida Institute of Technology
University of South Florida </p>

<p>Here are my stats:
ACT:
34 Composite
34 E
35 M
33 R
33 S
11 Writing</p>

<p>4.00 UW GPA
All honors classes taken in high school except for maybe 2-3 I took online.
3 Courses taken at a Community College
Total of 11 AP Classes taken by the end of senior year. </p>

<p>EC's:
Active NHS member (3 yrs)
Senior Beta Club Member (3 yrs)
Model Student Senate (3 yrs)
Academic Team (1 yr)
I work 20- 25 hours a week at a local grocery store.
Life Scout (working on Eagle Project now)
Starting an Engineering Club in the fall
200+ Hours of documented community service
PRISM Scholar (2008- Present) ( county-wide recognition for excellence in science and math) </p>

<p>Other:
I have mild cerebral palsy and I am one of triplets. I am white. </p>

<p>I think you are on the right path. Test scores look well and I have to say your Ecs are ok. <p>I would suggest looking into some higher ranked schools if you can afford it. Duke, Johns Hopkins, and UVA all meet your criteria; you have the GPA and ACT score.</p>

<p>Yeah, you’re definitely a match at all of those. Your grades/scores are great. I’d say you’d have a decent shot at Vanderbilt (in Tennessee) if you decided to look there.</p>
