chance me at Georgia Tech

I have an SAT score of 1420. I am a US citizen living in India, female. My high school doesn’t provide GPAs but my overall percentage in 11th was 88.4 and 10th I got a 9.6 on a 1-10 scale. I rank 4th in my grade out of 204 students. Our curriculum provide standard levels for each subjects only. I took Math, physics, chemistry, mass media and English. And I’m applying for the Computational Media course.
I’m the Head Girl of my school and Sports head for the past two years. Wrote Math and English Olympiads to go and win national ranks. I’m an athlete of state level. I’ve done two years of community service and have worked on the school magazine.

What are my chances??

You may be able to get an idea of where you place relative to recently admitted students by looking at the Georgia Tech Common Data Set: Part C9 of the CDS gives the median 50% for both SAT and ACT scores, as well as the percentage of the entering first-year class falling within certain ranges of SAT and ACT scores; Part C11 gives the percentage of entering first-year students falling within a range of unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, and Part C12 gives the average high school GPA of first-year applicants.

The CDS also tells you, under Part C7, that GPA and the rigor of your high school record are “very important” academic factors considered for freshman admission, whereas standardized test scores and your application essay(s) are “important” academic factors considered for freshman admission. Extracurricular activities are considered as “very important” non-academic factors. When I attended an Open House at Georgia Tech this past February, the Admissions Director, Rick Clark, echoed these points of emphasis — and primarily that GPA means more than standardized test scores to the Georgia Tech Admissions Office.

Mr. Clark also told me at that Open House that about 1/2 of the applications to Georgia Tech come from domestic OOS students, and about 1/4 from international students; with about 60% of admitted students coming from Georgia, 30% of admitted students being domestic OOS applicants, and 10% of admitted students coming from outside the U.S.

And, on the subject of the Common Data Set, here is a link to a blog from Rick Clark at Georgia Tech’s Admissions Office, which discusses (about halfway into the article) how to read and interpret some of the information in the CDS: http://pwp.gatech.edu/admission-blog/2017/06/07/kitchen-bars-and-common-data-sets/

Your SAT seems a bit low for an OOS applicant; ideally you would want to be above the 75% percentile of accepted students if you are OOS. I don’t know how to estimate your GPA and whether it would be competitive among other OOS applicants, given that it is a “very important” admissions factor.

When I convert my GPA, unweighted, it is a 3.75. Is the SAT score the only problem? I’ve already applied and am just hoping for the best

Also, my breakdown on the SAT was 750 Math and 670 English. As far as I know, the English part is in the 25% percentile but not the Math section.
